Dear friends and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Brenda, and I am reaching out to ask for your support in helping my mom, Myrian, fight a tumor located between her stomach and duodenum, the size of a fist. The tumor was large and vascular, making it extremely dangerous due to the potential for severe bleeding. To remove it, my mom underwent five different procedures, as the tumor was too large to extract in one attempt. After being hospitalized for 24 days, we are now facing the overwhelming financial burden of her medical bills and ongoing treatment, which total $125,169.44.

As if the situation wasn’t difficult enough, the insurance has not yet agreed to cover the costs, leaving us with full responsibility for her medical expenses. Additionally, my mom is not a Canadian citizen, which further complicates matters and adds to our financial strain.
