Help Our Families after Harvey

Hurricane Harvey has been an unbelievable force and is still, at this moment, devastating our hometown and our families in Texas. Almost every single member of our family's homes have been flooded and they currently still have water sitting in them. Water levels up to rooftops have entered these communities surrounding Beaumont, TX and destroying everything everyone owns. Our families are strong people but these types of devastations cannot be dealt with without help. Some of our family members, just like a lot of others, do not have flood insurance and are facing a long road, my grandmother along with my parents, specifically. We know that there are so many great ways to donate to help victims of Hurricane Harvey and so many people are affected that it seems hard to ask this for only our families specifically but we have had many people in New York and areas outside of these flooded areas ask how to help out with people we know directly and we thought this would be a good way to do that. We humbly ask and would greatly appreciate it if you would consider donating. My name is Jacy Bickham and I grew up in this incredible neighborhood outside of Beaumont and am currently living in Brooklyn, New York. Your money will go to help with purchasing supplies needed for clean up, to help with living expenses while they are out of their homes, to help with rebuilding their homes and their possessions such as clothing and their every day needs and the list goes on. Our families have not been able to get back into their homes due to many feet of water still sitting in them to even begin to move forward and a donation to help begin that recovery and restoration would greatly help that initial process. We, along with our families, would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts. We love our Texas family and are humbled to help them and be strong with them. Your money will lovingly and respectfully go straight to our families, specifically my grandmother and my parents and to their needs once this campaign is concluded. I, Jacy Bickham, will withdraw the donations from this campaign and distribute them to my grandmother and my parents. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
