My name is Maggie and this is my sweet cat Ollie. I have never met a more special animal in my entire life. He was rescued from a bad home and is the absolute sweetest. We have been dealing with health issues since before he even turned one. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in May 2020 and given 3 weeks to live (we now know this was actually probably dry FIP). He is a little fighter and has done super well until this past August when he was diagnosed with wet feline infectious peritonitis or FIP. I have probably spent over 10k on medical bills already, and I am a student with extremely limited funds. Right now, I don’t have the money to continue his treatment.

 

We are on day 48 (of 84) and it has made a world of difference. He was very literally on his death bed and hadn’t moved in two days before we started the medication. Now, he is back to his sweet, sassy self and loves to play with string, roll around on the stairs, and lay on me (usually when I have to go to the bathroom!). I am trying my best to continue to fund his lifesaving treatment but unfortunately have to ask for some help because I can no longer pay for the medication as it is extremely expensive.
