Our dear friend Penny is battling for her life for a second time in 3 years. She is diagnosed with Leukemia caused by her Breast Cancer Chemotherapy from just a short time ago.
Penny is a single mom to two amazing kids! She is a very caring and giving person, who is always ready to help anyone in need. She is a strong, positive fighter, but this is definitely a time when we could all help her out.
She's at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH, receiving massive doses of chemo. A bone marrow transplant may be needed, but has not been determined at this time.
Because Penny was just battling Breast Cancer almost all of her sick pay leave was used for those treatments and recovery. Her time at the hospital is indefinte at this point.
