NI Hospice Christmas Decoration Appeal

Hi everyone, (sorry for the “wordy” post) I own a garden design and landscaping business Ardbrin Landscaping and Garden Care and my wife is a Deputy Manager on the floor of the adult Hospice on Somerton Road in Belfast. Things have been very difficult for everyone this year so I think we’re all looking forward to Christmas (whatever shape it comes in)

Our Challenge: due to infection control the Hospice will not be allowed to put up their two large internal Christmas trees this year SO what I’d like to do is to supply a Christmas theme to each of the 18 private patio areas of the individual rooms that are used by patients and their families. I would like to be able to provide a small artificial Christmas tree, outdoor lights, outdoor decorations, door wreath etc anything that could bring a little festive cheer to those who will call the Hospice HOME this Christmas. I didn’t want to contact businesses directly as I know many are struggling but thought I’d post on here to see if anyone could help us achieve this and make what might be a last Christmas, for some, a special one for those who need the amazing help and support of the hospice this Christmas.

I’d like to be able to gift these items to the hospice so they can use them each year. Myself and my team will take the time to decorate the areas and we will financially fill any gaps required to complete the task. Remember we have 18 patio areas to decorate so 18 outdoor trees, at least 18 sets of lights etc. Anyone who could donate any of the above items OR make a small donation to allow us to buy the items I’d be so so grateful. I’m very keen to shop local in NI so any recommendations are gratefully received. Some people have asked about donating a complete patio from their business and that is amazing.

UPDATE: We estimate that to complete each patio it will cost £150. Any money leftover will be given to the Hospice for them to use as they see fit.
