Tyler's Recovery

Oct. 7th, 2017, Tyler suffered a Grand mal seizure while driving. He was rushed to Mercy Hospital, which is where we learned Tyler had a grade-3 Astrocytoma, a type of brain tumor, in his right frontal lobe. He has since undergone a craniotomy to surgically remove as much of the tumor as possible without causing physical or cognitive deficits. The surgery went very well, the doctors were happy with the outcome as they were able to remove the majority of the mass. Tyler will still need to go through chemo- and radiation therapy to treat the remainder of the tumor. Right now we know he will do 6 weeks of radiation and a year of chemo (this is subject to change after seeing his progress). At this point, Tyler is unable to work or drive and his unemployment insurance was denied. His medical care expenses are piling up, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
