Fighting For Sammie

Donation protected

This is hard for me because I was raised to work hard for everything I wanted or needed, never live beyond my means, and never ask for handouts. And up until nowI’ve worked overtime as much as I could to put money aside for later things, but due to pandemic budgeting, overtime isn’t being offered at the moment and those funds are dwindling fast.

I’m also a firm believer that no one should ever put their pet down simply because they can’t afford the care needed to get them better. Their lives should not come down to cost. No one would ever think that about a child. To some of us that’s what our pets are to us. Abs definitely what my pets are to me. Even if non-pet people don’t understand that.

Samson is 2. He’s young and vibrant and all he wants in life is head scritches, cuddles, and wet food. And he’s been so strong and so brave. He is sick with an illness that can be reversed with the right treatments. The vets keep saying how cats as sick as he is are usually barely responsive or moving but he has quite the strong spirit. He’s active, alert, observing things around him, and always asking for head scritches the moment someone comes to his kennel. He wants to get through this, he wants to back to being a happy, healthy boy. It’s just going to take time and some intensive care. He’s not giving up and neither am I. No matter what it takes.

I figure if nothing gets donated, then I’m simply where I am now and nothing is lost. But every dollar that does is a dollar that helps somewhere among the way.  Thank you for reading his story and thank you for you consideration.
