A little help goes a long way.

Hi, I am Danii. I am 29 & I have 2 young boys. I was diagnosed with stage 2 HR+ breast cancer 2 months ago. My life has had some drastic changes over the past few months due to my new diagnoses. I am going through financial hardship trying to pay for treatments, rent, and caring for my two young children. I have insurance, but it does not pay for everything. I have to pay copays for treatments & medications. It's hard to work and heal. I am going through dietary changes and I am still adapting to the body changes which includes exhaustion, fatigue, body aches and pain. For months I thought that my chest was just having minor pain until I couldn’t raise my arm for long periods of time. When I went for my annual exam I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have tried to continue to work and to continue to provide for my small children. It is tough mentally, emotionally and physically.

I recently lost my car along with other necessities trying to pay for my medical expenses and to take care of our immediate needs around this time. Anything you can help my family keeps roof over our heads and help and with the necessities would be amazing. It's hard, but we're pushing through! I believe in God, and I know somehow we will get through this tough time.

I also want to say that it it’s important to watch what we put in our bodies because life is so short. Although they can not confirm the main cause of HR+ breast cancer it was confirmed that my Birth control was feeding the cancer hormones and helped it grow. It’s important to get check ups, and to learn your body. Please do not ignore any pain you may have. Breast cancer cash easily be overlooked when you’re young but no matter your age it can affect you.
