Relief Fund

Hello family, friends and loved ones. This is Jeffrey Morrison down here in Key West. First & foremost, I want to thank everyone for all the love, support and concern regarding my safety through the hurricane. It was the most frightening night of my life, but I made it through safely. The aftermath this week has been brutal but it is getting better with each passing day. This has been one of the hardest weeks (and summers) of my life.

For those of you who know me well, you know that I am a humble man and I have tried so hard to be as self sufficient and independent as possible my entire adult life. I have consistently worked a 40/hr work week since graduating college. Due to my back injury in June I was out of work for 6 weeks.  Between the medical bills and loss of income I really took a hit. Now, I am facing another financial setback due to hurricane Irma (Irmageddon). No guests or visitors to Key West means no work for someone in the hotel industry.  I am hoping to reach my goal to help me with my medical bills and from being out of work for the 6 weeks before the hurricane and now being out of work because of the storm.  

I have opened this Go Fund Me account hoping and praying for some assistance during this difficult time as I try to rebuild my life.  This is very hard (even embarrassing) for me to ask for help but I am seriously struggling and starting to worry about the financial crisis I am facing.  

If you are able to help, your act of kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. You can even donate anonymously if you prefer.  I will withdraw the funds weekly to keep current with my medical bills and to hopefully get my life back together in the aftermath of Irma.
