Improving Quality of a Beautiful Life

Two years ago, Becky Fisher was entering the twenty-sixth year of a job she loved, a job she intended to stay at until retirement, when her doctor informed her that she had Alpha-1, a genetic deficiency which, in combination with her already present COPD, can make breathing nearly impossible.  The doctor told her to stop working or stop breathing, so she reluctantly walked away from her job and went on disability. Her new health coverage is expensive and limited, and here's the deal...she recently spent a week in the hospital with a severe COPD attack exacerbated by her Alpha-1 status.  She's home now, but she needs a portable oxygen machine...which her insurance company will not cover. So, we, the members of her family, are working together to raise the $6,000 necessary for her to acquire this machine.
