The Fight for Dignity

Mr. Stadnik deserves his dignity, the best of care and the upmost of compassion. After suffering a major heart attack and stroke on November 22, 2016 - his entire world has changed forever. He is the loving husband of Maria, an outstanding father to 3 incredible daughters and a proud grandfather of two precious grandchildren.
The indescribable failure of our Health Care System has left the family with an incredible amount of financial and more importantly emotionally hardship and stress. The family has been encouraged to "pull the plug" and consider compassionate care on a daily basis. But we see him fighting everyday for his life... he responds and smiles when you talk to him, he expresses emotion, he tries to speak, he leans in to kiss his wife. Currently stuck in a hospital with minimal care and repeated mistakes made by staff he has gone from enjoying time spent outside to trying to fight an unknown internal bleed that has him once again fighting for his life. The expenses incurred during the last few months are insurmountable. The emotional trauma endured by the family....absolutely indescribable. But he continues to fight and so are we.
