<div>Heute will ich Euch ein neues Update zum Unfall meiner Nichte Yasmin und ihrem Mann Marco geben: Yasmin spricht jetzt schon die ersten kurzen Sätze und beginnt langsam an der Seite einer Begleitung zu laufen/gehen. Ihr glaubt gar nicht, wie unfassbar toll dieser Fortschritt ist. Daher danke ich Euch allen von ganzem Herzen für Eure Unterstützung. Marco geht es ebenfalls besser, so dass er nächste Woche schon nach Hause fliegen kann. Auch mit Eurer Hilfe und den guten Wünschen haben wir beide wieder ins Leben zurück geholt. Daher noch einmal, meinen ganz herzlichen Dank für jede Unterstützung in jeder Form. Bleibt schön gesund und fit bei diesem heißen Sommerwetter.

No os imagináis lo increíblemente maravilloso que es este progreso. Por eso, os doy las gracias a todos de todo corazón por vuestro apoyo. Marco también está mejor, así que la próxima semana ya podrá volar de regreso a casa. También gracias a vuestra ayuda y a vuestros buenos deseos, hemos conseguido que ambos vuelvan poco a poco a la vida. Por eso, una vez más, muchísimas gracias de todo corazón por cualquier tipo de apoyo. Manteneos sanos y en forma con este caluroso tiempo de verano.

<div>Today I would like to give you a new update on the accident involving my niece Yasmin and her husband Marco: Yasmin is already speaking her first short sentences and is slowly beginning to walk with the support of someone by her side. You cannot imagine how incredibly wonderful this progress is. Therefore, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support. Marco is also doing better, so he will already be able to fly home next week. With your help and good wishes, we have helped both of them find their way back to life. <div>Was als gemeinsame Reise zweier engagierter Weltenbummler begann, wurde innerhalb von Sekunden zu einem Albtraum.
</div>
<div>Am 29. März 2026 wurden Yasmin und Marco in Caazapá, Paraguay, bei einem schweren Verkehrsunfall lebensgefährlich verletzt. Beim Linksabbiegen wurde ihr Fahrzeug von einem von hinten überholenden Linienbus erfasst. Seit diesem Moment ist nichts mehr wie zuvor. Beide liegen schwer verletzt auf der Intensivstation und kämpfen Tag für Tag ums Überleben.

<div>Aufgrund der Schwere des Unfalls berichten auch mehrere lokale Medien über das Geschehen.
</div>
<div>Die Verletzungen sind gravierend. Kopf, innere Organe und lebenswichtige Funktionen sind betroffen. Wie ihr Weg zurück ins Leben aussehen wird, kann derzeit niemand sagen.
</div>
<div>Yasmin, in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen, ist Mutter von vier erwachsenen Kindern.

<div>Die Liebe von Yasmin und Marco ist eine Geschichte, die schon vor vielen Jahren auf den Fluren eines Bonner Gymnasiums begann. Was als jugendliches Necken und liebevolle Witzeleien anfing, war der zarte Beginn einer tiefen Verbundenheit.

<div>Obwohl das Leben sie nach dem Abschluss zunächst in verschiedene Richtungen führte – Yasmin in die weite Welt, Marco auf sein Schiff –, verloren sie sich nie ganz aus den Augen. Ein zufälliges Wiedersehen in Berlin entfachte die alten Funken neu, doch erst Jahre später, nach vielen eigenen Wegen und Erfahrungen, wurde aus dem „Vielleicht“ ein endgültiges „Ja“ und haben in 2024 endgültig geheiratet.

<div>Es war der Moment, in dem beide wussten: Wir gehören zusammen. Gemeinsam ließen sie alles Alte hinter sich, um in Spanien ein neues Kapitel aufzuschlagen. Es ist genau dieses unerschütterliche Fundament aus Vertrauen und gemeinsamer Geschichte, das uns sicher sein lässt: Ihre Verbindung ist so stark, dass sie jede Krise gemeinsam überstehen werden. Sie lassen einander nicht los.

<div>Gemeinsam träumten sie davon, ihren Lebensabend irgendwann einmal in Paraguay zu verbringen. Dieser Traum liegt nun in weiter Ferne.
</div>
<div>Ihr Leben war immer geprägt davon, für andere da zu sein. Jetzt sind sie selbst auf Hilfe angewiesen.
</div>
<div>Neben der akuten Versorgung stehen zahlreiche Operationen, weitere medizinische Behandlungen und eine lange Rehabilitation bevor. Besonders dringend ist ein medizinisch begleiteter Rücktransport nach Alicante, damit beide in ihrer vertrauten Umgebung weiter behandelt werden können.

<div>Die entstehenden Kosten sind enorm und für die Familie allein nicht zu bewältigen. Zugleich ist bereits absehbar, dass die finanziellen Belastungen weiter deutlich ansteigen und die bisherigen Mittel noch deutlich übertreffen werden.

<div>In dieser schweren Zeit bitten wir von Herzen um Unterstützung.

<div>Lo que comenzó como un viaje compartido de dos apasionados trotamundos se convirtió en una pesadilla en cuestión de segundos.

<div>El 29 de marzo de 2026, Yasmin y Marco resultaron gravemente heridos en un accidente de tráfico en Caazapá, Paraguay. Al girar a la izquierda, su vehículo fue impactado por un autobús de línea que adelantaba por detrás. Desde ese momento, nada ha vuelto a ser igual. Ambos se encuentran en estado crítico, en la unidad de cuidados intensivos, luchando día a día por sobrevivir.

<div>Debido a la gravedad del accidente, varios medios locales también han informado sobre lo sucedido.
</div>
<div>Las lesiones son graves. La cabeza, los órganos internos y funciones vitales están afectados. Nadie puede decir en este momento cómo será su camino de regreso a la vida.

<div>Yasmin, nacida y criada en Alemania, es madre de cuatro hijos adultos.
</div>
<div>En 2018 fundó su propia escuela en Alicante, España, la cual dirige desde entonces con gran dedicación, valentía y un compromiso incansable.

<div>Ha creado un lugar donde los niños pueden crecer, aprender y desarrollarse.
</div>
<div>La historia de amor de Yasmin y Marco comenzó hace muchos años en los pasillos de un instituto en Bonn. Lo que empezó como bromas juveniles y comentarios cariñosos fue el inicio delicado de una profunda conexión.

<div>Aunque la vida los llevó inicialmente por caminos diferentes tras graduarse —Yasmin por el mundo, Marco a bordo de su barco— nunca se perdieron completamente de vista. Un reencuentro casual en Berlín reavivó la chispa, pero no fue hasta años después, tras muchos caminos y experiencias propias, que el “quizás” se convirtió en un “sí” definitivo, y finalmente se casaron en 2024.

<div>Fue el momento en que ambos supieron: pertenecemos el uno al otro. Juntos dejaron todo atrás para comenzar un nuevo capítulo en España. Es precisamente esta base inquebrantable de confianza e historia compartida lo que nos hace estar seguros de que su vínculo es lo suficientemente fuerte como para superar cualquier crisis. No se soltarán.

<div>Juntos soñaban con pasar algún día su vejez en Paraguay. Ese sueño ahora parece muy lejano.

<div>Sus vidas siempre se han caracterizado por estar ahí para los demás. Ahora, ellos mismos dependen de la ayuda.

<div>Además de la atención médica inmediata, les esperan numerosas operaciones, más tratamientos y una larga rehabilitación. Especialmente urgente es un traslado médico asistido a Alicante para que ambos puedan continuar su tratamiento en un entorno familiar.

<div>Los costos generados son enormes y la familia no puede asumirlos por sí sola. Al mismo tiempo, ya es evidente que la carga financiera seguirá aumentando considerablemente y superará con creces los recursos actuales.

<div>What began as a shared journey of two passionate globetrotters turned into a nightmare within seconds.
</div>
<div>On March 29, 2026, Yasmin and Marco were critically injured in a serious traffic accident in Caazapá, Paraguay. While making a left turn, their vehicle was hit by a bus overtaking from behind. Since that moment, nothing has been the same. Both are severely injured, lying in intensive care, fighting for their lives day by day.

<div>Due to the severity of the accident, several local media outlets have reported on the incident.
</div>
<div>The injuries are severe. Their heads, internal organs, and vital functions have been affected. No one can currently say what their path back to life will look like.

<div>Yasmin, born and raised in Germany, is the mother of four adult children.
</div>
<div>In 2018, she founded her own school in Alicante, Spain, which she has been running ever since with great dedication, courage, and tireless commitment.

<div>She created a place where children can grow, learn, and thrive.

<div>Although life initially took them in different directions after graduation—Yasmin out into the wide world, Marco onto his ship—they never completely lost sight of each other. A chance reunion in Berlin reignited the spark, but it wasn’t until years later, after many individual paths and experiences, that “maybe” finally became a definite “yes,” and they got married in 2024.

<div>It was the moment they both knew: we belong together. Together, they left everything behind to begin a new chapter in Spain. It is precisely this unshakable foundation of trust and shared history that gives us certainty: their bond is strong enough to withstand any crisis. They will not let go of each other.

<div>Together, they dreamed of spending their retirement one day in Paraguay. That dream now feels very far away.
</div>
<div>Their lives have always been shaped by being there for others. Now, they themselves depend on help.

<div>In addition to acute medical care, numerous surgeries, further treatments, and a long rehabilitation lie ahead. Most urgently, a medically supervised repatriation to Alicante is needed so that both can continue treatment in a familiar environment.
