Yasha’s Transition Fund

Hi! My name is Yasha Lelonek, I am a 20 year old,  Afro-Latina actor and visual artist currently pursuing my BFA in Drama at NYU. I made this fund to help cover costs related to my medical gender transition. I began this journey just a few short months ago with the support of my family and close friends. So far, it has been an incredible process of reconnecting with my most vulnerable self-- an experience that is both painful and beautiful in the same sense. But due to the social preference of cisnormativity intersecting with trans-misogynoir, access to crucial gender-affirming procedures is difficult for my community. I am in need of assistance as I continue to move forward. I am looking to you-- my community, online friends, or some kind strangers-- for some support along the way.


Any funds received will go toward the cost of the procedures necessary to complete my transition, including housing, travel, and post-operative care.

As I continue to spread my roots deep and reach for the sky through my work, I am deeply grateful for any donations to this fundraiser-- from the bottom of my heart to yours.
