Yaseen's Legacy

Bismillah Al Rahman Al Rahim. After 5 days of being with us, my nephew Yaseen has passed away to the next life. Shock, grief, sadness, we were all overcome with emotion, but knowing we only had a few days with him, we had to be positive. Yaseen was born with a rare condition called Trisomy 13. He was born with an extra chromosome which means his fetus was created with too much information. Every cell in his body was damaged. He lived his short life surrounded by family and love, and passed away in the same environment. I am relieved to know he is not suffering anymore, attached to wires and oxygen. I am relieved to know he is with Prophet Ibrahim (as), who is a way better baby sitter than I ever would’ve been. Yaseen was chosen to have an expedited trip to Jannat, he was way too cool for this dunya Mashallah.

I've started a GoFundMe (LINK IN BIO). *All* proceeds will go to CHOC (Children's Hospital of Orange County) in Yaseen's name. His own little legacy. The money will help other children overcome their illnesses and give them a chance at this life, and the money is a "Thank You" for the amazing doctors/nurses that helped keep him healthy for as long as they could, so we could have the chance to love and make memories with our little angel, Yaseen.
