On Saturday September 8th, our beloved friend, Ben Hodor, passed away very peacefully at 1:00 a.m. He was 49 years old.
In May of 2017, Ben suffered a stroke and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (a terminal brain cancer with a 12-month life expectancy, that Senator John McCain succumbed to last month). The pain and shock has been devastating for the past 16 months and no one can really wrap their minds around how this could be. It has had a tremendous impact on his wife Joon Hee and their kids Hannah and Jackson. We all want to hold up the family in these days and the days ahead.
As many of you know and have followed Ben's journey over the last year in his battle with this debilitating condition he has been one of the very bravest and most courageous people we've ever known, and now more than ever we need to surround him and his loving family in any way that we can. Collectively we can help assist the kids with their future educational needs.
Ben was a man of strong faith and was one of the most generous individuals we ever had the honor of knowing. Ben was always willing to help a friend or loved one in need, regardless of the circumstances.
