En las pasadas semanas, Yahmái se sometió a una evaluación audiológica en la cual le fue diagnosticado un 40% de pérdida de audición en el oído izquierdo. Lamentablemente, en estos momentos, Yahmái se encuentra desempleada y la mayoría de los planes medicos no tienen cubierta para audiología en los adultos, lo que conlleva un alto gasto en estudios y tratamiento para poder evitar que siga progresando la pérdida de audición.
Para poder lograr estabilizar la audición, Yahmai necesita adquirir un audífono que se conoce como RIC (Receiver-in-canal). Este aparato tiene un costo que tampoco es cubierto por los planes medicos, lo cual es muy difícil para ella adquirir ya que se encuentra sin empleo.
Es sumamente importante que ella pueda adquirir este aparato lo antes posible y realizarse las pruebas correspondientes para que pueda lograr tener calidad de vida. Por esto, apelamos al buen corazón de nuestros seres queridos, amistades, conocidos y cualquiera que desee aportar para poder cubrir los gastos de los instrumentos y estudios que necesite se le realicen.

During last past weeks, Yahmái underwent an audiological evaluation in which was diagnosed with a 40% of hearing loss in her left ear. Unfortunately, Yahmái is currently unemployed and most health insurance plans do not have adult audiology cover, which entails a high expenditure on additional evaluations and treatment in order to prevent further progress in hearing loss.
To be able to stabilize the hearing, Yahmái needs to buy a hearing aid known as RIC (Receiver-in-canal). This device has a high cost and is also not covered by health insurance plans, which is very difficult for her to buy since she is unemployed.
It is extremely important that she can buy this device as soon as possible and can realize the correspondent tests in order to have a normal life. For this reason, we appeal to the noble heart of our loved ones, friends, acquaintances and anyone who wishes to contribute in order to cover the expenses of the devices and evaluations that need to be realized.
