Sanchez Family Burglary Recovery

Before I say what I am going to say about this wonderful family please understand they would never, ever ask for this.  Not once during their struggles have they ever waivered in the fact that they trust God in everything and that no matter what it will be ok.  They have always continued to work hard and stay faithful... then this happens... as my pregnant sister cried on the couch disappointed and scared even in that moment she and Joe agreed that God is faithful and they were thankful it wasn't worse than what it was... so this is what happened ...

On December 10 around 5:00 pm my sister who is pregnant with their 4th child, due in January, came home with her 3 little boys following behind her to find their house had been robbed.  It was 5 year old Carson who said "Mama, our TV is gone!"   They then found that the wrapped presents under the Christmas tree were all gone, and a few other special items like the Wii U they were given as a gift last year, an ipad mini used for work at the church and other misc. items, games, movies, etc.
Immediatly they were scared and upset. How could someone see the pictures of the kids on the wall, the highchair in the kitchen, the bassinet awaiting the new baby, the unfinished coloring pages on the tables, the little shoes and socks on the floor, and all 6 stockings hanging up by the tree and not realize how cruel this really is?   What they didnt know is Joe is a youth pastor at a small church.  He has lunch at all the schools every week just so he can be there in case any of them ever need him.  Brittney helps out a single parent by caring for their kids as they work, no charge, just wants to be a blessing.  They live very frugal lives and honestly had been struggling already.  The past several days were spent figuring out how to pay the mechanic bill for their car that broke down a few weeks ago.  Just today they were excited that their modest Christmas bonus would be enough to pick the car up.  Only to come home and find this...

These are the people who will help anyone.  Give anyone anything, anytime, anywhere.  Even these thieves that came to steal from them, they would've tried to help them however they possibly could've.  That's the kind of people they are.  No one ever deserves this, but seriously of all people - they dont.

The officers said it is unlikely they will ever get anything back and to start now trying to replace it all especially this close to Christmas.   Anything you can do is so very sweet, generous, and appreciated more than we can say.

Brittney also has a small business of her own if you would prefer to do some shopping instead! Still gives them some help, but also gets you some really creative gifts!

They would have never asked for help at all, but the kindness of so many that jumped and asked how to help them is what prompted us to start this.  If you are local and prefer to drop off you can do that as well at Susan's Restaurant in Holt or contact us.

Thank you again for anything you can do, please pray the cops catch who did this and that they find Jesus in the process!
