Rebuilding Yabucoa Puerto Rico

Donation protected

As many of you may already know, my family lives in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. Yabucoa was the first location on the island where the eye of Hurricane Maria first landed. The effects today are still devestating!

Our father Pedro Bermudez, arrived to Connecticut (from Yabucoa, P.R.) a week after the hurricane and will be traveling back to Puerto Rico, alongside Stacey Zimmerman, to personally provide items to Yabucoa sectors of Aguacate, Jacanas & Limones.  They will be arriving to Puerto Rico to deliver aide on December 5th, and will be there for a couple of weeks.  They will be documenting this special relief effort via video and photos, to be posted instantly via social media and on-line.

This fund will directly provide inflatable solar lanterns for 60 homes in the the neighborhoods listed above, as well as water filtration units and look to outfit up to 15 homes with 50w solar starter kits.  Our long term goal will be to outfitt all the homes reached through this initiative with Solar Panel Kits.

Your contribution will buy:
•60 solar lanterns to equip homes with them
•Water filtration units
•50w solar starter kits
•Solar Panel Kits
•Cleaning Equipment
•Canned food

We have arranged a great discount from the solar lamp manufacturers, so every small donation helps.

Together we can help those in need.

Thank you!
