Severus the Kitty Needs Help

I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey. Well, it's not really strange at all, I just love Rocky Horror Picture Show and will thus use any excuse available to reference it. However, I do have a journey to take you on.
Back in January of 2012, I was given a very special cat. I was not aware on the day that I received him that he was meant to be a coping mechinism for me. You see, my aunt knew that the following day would be when I was told that my father was diagnosed and dying of stage four cancer. He was meant to be my therapy. My father only lived a few short weeks after that, but this special cat (Severus) did exactly what he was meant to. He was my pillow to cry on, my shoulder to lean on and everything in between. He became my life. He also had diabetes, requiring two shots of insulin a day. This was huge for me, since it meant I had to care for another life. It worked wonders in dragging me out of my depression.
Then last fall I decided to leave Alabama and go to California for my brother's wedding. Little did I know that I would fall so in love with the place that I would decide to stay, with only my two suitcases! After a couple of months, I was able to have my Severus shipped out to me by a pet courier service. The reunion was greater than that of Pippin and Merry at Minas Tirith!
However, things took a bad turn a short while ago. Severus began having seizures and his blood sugar was dropping to unheard of levels. That's where we are now, in a place where we can't get his sugar levels to even out. One day it's too low to fathom, the next it's higher than you'd think possible. During this time he has also stopped eating and has to be force fed every hour.
This is where I need help. He is the world to me and I would do anything for him - to get him better, to make him feel better. But his vet bills are mounting daily. He is in and out more than Prince Oberyn at a brothel! And we are still not even sure what's causing his blood sugar to fluctuate so erratically!
I don't expect to see the full funds met, but even a few dollars would help. Moving across the country has entirely depleted my monies at this point.
Basically, if I were Link, Severus would be the thing it would be dangerous for me to go without. Especially in this new, foreign territory...he's all I have.
