Seizure Response Dog for Ryan

Donation protected
Seven years ago my husband, Ryan, began having grand-mal seizures from an unknown cause.  This day has changed his life forever.  He was diagnosed when our first daughter was born.  We now have two beautiful daughters that continue to see their dad have grand-mal seizures.
His life has now been turned upside down.  He is unable to work or drive because his seizures are so frequent. He often stays home because of the fear and embarrassment of having a seizure in a public place.  He has seen numerous doctors and tried all possible medications, without finding one that is successful.  He continues to struggle with epilepsy daily.
He suffers from numerous types of seizures but the grand-mal seizures are most debilitating.  When he suffers from this type of seizure he often ends up in the emergency room because he always seems to be standing.  When he falls, as the seizure begins, his head breaks his fall.  He has had stitches, staples, concussions, and even a second neck surgery due to the falls.
If we are able to raise enough money to provide him with an Epilepsy Response Dog, this will at least keep his head from any more serious injuries and confidence to get back into the world.  It will be a blessing to have a dog that will at least tell him to sit before the seizure begins.  This will greatly reduce the injuries to his head. This dog would not only provide assistance to him while in need but also improve his quality of life.
The expenses are costly so we ask for assistance from anyone willing and able to contribute to this life changing opportunity.
Thank you in advance for all of the love and support you can give and have given to us already.
With the funds that are raised we hope to buy the puppy that is in the picture with Ryan to begin training immediately with a Certified Professional Service Dog Trainer.  Her name is Dee Bogetti and we are very excited to go through the training process with her.
