<div>On June 15, Father's Day, our grandmother passed away in her sleep after being sent home on hospice just the day before. She was a native of Tehachapi for her whole 75 years of life. Her husband, Clyde Wheat, was a veteran and passed away in 1992.

<div>Ever since becoming our grandma in 1997, she has dedicated her life to helping my mother and my aunt raise us 5 kids. She also leaves behind 3 great-grandkids and one on the way. As long as I can remember, my grandma has always been the heart of our family. She made everyone around her feel so loved and cared for. She made us into the people we are today.
