Tanzania Mission Trip

With a new year comes new adventures! We want to share with you what has begun happening in the Steidinger home. Recently Dad and I were invited to join in a mission trip to the Tanzania Children's Rescue Center (TCRC) in Mwanza, Tanzania in Africa. This is an orphanage that helps children in the city of Mwanza by giving them a sense of security, while teaching them and showing them the love of Christ. There the children are blessed with food, education, and love.
While we are there, we will be ministering to the children and helping build a girls dorm at the orphanage. Once finished, this will house the girls and give them a place they can call their own. The project has been going on for awhile and we hope to finish the building while we are there and still have enough time to begin moving the girls into their dorms.
As we think about this trip, Dad is thankful that he can use his skills to benefit children other than his own and I am excited to be away with dad serving others in another part of the world. We actually made a whole list of things we are excited about but these are the most practical. We both agree that we want to draw closer to God and see him at work most of all.
Although we are excited about going on this trip, financially this will be a little challenging as the expenses total a little more than $2700 for Dad and I individually. We would be so thankful if you would consider partnering with us as we venture out on February 2nd for 12 days. We appreciate your prayers for a few specific requests:
-God would use the two of us to share His love in a refreshing way with all the children
-our skills would be a great blessing to the girls as they receive their new homes
-Dad and I would grow to understand our identity in Christ more deeply and permanently.
