This Go Fund Me page was created for Mia to help spread awareness of how important it is to help save lives by donating blood and bone marrow.
She would not be alive today without over 200 generous blood donors who have kept her alive the past 17 years. Mia is searching for a ‘Match’ via Be The Match - the worlds largest bone marrow registry which is her only hope for a cure to DBA.
Diamond Blackfan Anemia is where your body does not produce any red blood cells at all...so lives because people donate their blood to her. We could never say thank you enough!
Mia travels around the greater Phoenix Area to companies, schools & special events to share her story of how strangers save her life every 3 weeks by blood donations. To find a cure we need as many people as possible to do a simple cheek swab to see if you ‘match’ her tissue type, she could potentially be cured through a bone marrow transplant. A free gift of life.

Life is so short and precious the only thing Mia wants to do is travel and share her story. She is currently saving up for a trip to England or just traveling as she wants to see the world with her own eyes! So if you would like to help with that, this is what this page is for.
