During Erika's pregnancy, her son Caleb was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). This means the left aorta and ventricle of his heart never fully developed.
Caleb was born on May 29 at Crouse Hospital after 52 hours of labor, already proving to be the stubborn fighter everyone knew he would be. He was transported to Strong Hospital in Rochester shortly after being born and underwent his first of three open heart surgeries.
Erika and Ryan have been staying in Rochester with Caleb and are taking unpaid time off from work to be with their son. In addition to the time off from work, they are incurring medical costs and travel expenses. Please consider a donation to help the Fallon family alleviate these costs while they focus on their newborn son and being together as a family.
