Help my Mom beat Cancer

It’s been 2 months since we got the worst news of our lives. After going to the hospital for stomach pains and being sent home twice do to an incorrect diagnosis (gastritis). My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. For those who don’t know Stage 4 cancer is as bad as it gets. The only reason it was found was because a surgeon wanted to do an explorative surgery to see why my mom was in so much pain. During that surgery a tumor was found in her small intestines so the surgeon decided to cut that out along with 12 inches of her intestines. After this surgery is when we were informed it was cancer. The Dr’s who diagnosed her seemed to give up almost as soon as they gave us the diagnosis. Nothing at all was attempted on their end to try to save my mother. They skipped directly to speaking to us about hospice and quality of life. We chose not to be told the length of her life expectancy but it was insinuated she’d be lucky to live another month. We then chose to get a second opinion from one of the leading cancer clinics in the U.S., Mayo Clinic. We arrived hopeful only to be told there was nothing that they could do to help either. I then contacted Cancer Centers Of America and was told they would be willing to “try everything in the world to save my mom”. Only to get a call back the day before her first appointment where I was informed they had reviewed her records and condition and believed there was nothing that could be done to help. I refused to except all of the negativity from these “world renowned Dr’s” and began to do my own research. After multiple sleepless nights of searching I came across many stories of cancer being cured outside of America. My hope was renewed and I began to search for these places. It wasn’t easy which led me to believe it was for a reason. Eventually I found a Clinic in Germany who have cured the exact cancer my mother has. Of course going to Germany was a bit far fetched so I researched the techniques that they used to cure cancer. By doing so I came across a Clinic in Mexico by the name of Immunity Therapy Center. They had countless stories of completely curing people from terminal cancer diagnosis’s. I reached out to one of their Dr’s and informed them of my moms condition. To my relief he could not understand why the American Dr’s had gave up. I was told my mother “still had many options”. So as a family we decided we must get our mother to this clinic ASAP. The only unfortunate part is that insurance does not cover alternative cancer treatments so everything must be paid out of pocket. Luckily my sister and mom’s husband have always been great at saving money for emergencies and this was definitely one. The initial cost was $18,995 U.S. dollars for 3 weeks of treatments. When we arrived we found out that the first surgery that was done on my mother only further complicated her situation. So another surgery would be necessary to correct the horrible job that was done in America. The price of this surgery was $14,700 U.S. dollars. Fortunately between my sister and mothers husband, that was taken care of but it also set back finances which is why we are asking for help to continue my mothers treatments. This means more money will be needed to make this happen. As for her progress, my mother arrived in Mexico with an NG tube in her nose to drain her stomach since nothing she ate or drank could be digested. She also had a drainage tube inserted into her gallbladder which became infected after the first surgery. She was very weak and barely able to walk when she arrived in Mexico. She had not ate for almost two months and was told by the American doctors that she would “never eat again”. I am now proud to say she has only had 2 weeks of treatments (along with 1 week of recovery after the second surgery) and all of the drainage tubes have been removed from her body. I’m even happier to announce that as of a few days ago she ate her first solid meal in 2 months despite being told that would never happen. As of right now she can only have small portions of food but is making more progress every single day. I can not forget to mention she is finally smiling like she used to. So now that she is capable of eating again the focus is back on treating the cancer. Considering the horrible condition she arrived in she will definitely need to be here longer to get rid of this disease. With the progress that has been made in such short time I have complete faith that continuing her treatments here will heal my mother. Hopefully now knowing the full story, those of you reading this will find it in your hearts to donate and help my mom continue her treatments to beat this cancer.
