Kidney Transplant Medical Bills

Hello, my name is Kayla Gamboa. I want to share my good friend, Bridgette Grant's story. I met Bridgette at the school we work at together. She is an absolute joy and pleasure to know. She has been teaching for over 28 years and has been able to bless many children with curiosity and the inspiration to learn. She has worked with developmentally and intellectually challenged children in the past. She has been an advocate in her community to help improve challenged children, adults, and families within her community. Bridgette is a member of a community church where she leads the children's church and is an active member of the women's community. Bridgette has been diagnosed with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney disease. It is an inherited disorder in which clusters of water-filled cysts develop in the kidneys. Bridgette is the youngest of seven children. She has three sisters and three brothers (1 deceased). Three of her brothers, one sister, and she has been diagnosed with ADPKD. All of them are on dialysis except her and her deceased brother. Her other siblings aren't candidates for a transplant. There are five stages and she is currently in stage 4 renal failure. She has two children and I know she looks forward to seeing them continue to grow and prosper in society. Her faith has helped her look forward to what's to come. She has been a blessing to so many lives. If anyone could help even a small amount this will help her.
