MetalDays Corona Relief Fund

Dear friends, MetalDays needs your help. 

Due to the pandemic that was declared in March 2020, we were forced to cancel MetalDays two years in a row.
This has put MetalDays future in an uncertain situation. 
Unlike some other EU Governments that took actions to protect the event industry and to lower the risk of promoters with
state-guaranteed insurance funds, the Slovenian Government did absolutely nothing to help the industry that suffered most since the
declaration of the pandemic.
Just the Air Transportation industry has suffered same catastrophic loss. 
…and still, one year later we are left in the dark in each and every way. 
With such (none)actions, the future of MetalDays is not looking good, and we don’t know at the moment how to survive another year without the festival.
Therefore we rely on your help now more than ever. 
We need financial support to keep our operations alive, to keep our crew employed, to be able to pay our monthly costs and to be able to
work on a future edition of MetalDays in form of planning, artists-booking, and production pre-work.

MetalDays invented so-called festival tourism, a prolonged festival experience
that last 10 days, and even more for some visitors.
Today more and more festivals are embracing same concept in order to be more
attractive to the visitors.

MetalDays is pioneer in festival-environmental-awerness.
We put so much effort in organising festival with very small impact on the local
and broader environment.
Throughout the years we have invented so many environmental-friendly
initiatives that we never before used at the festivals of this scale, we can’t even
name all of them here.
This was first laughed by many, and it is now hot topic on every festival around.
With 15 years of experience in this field, MetalDays is true environmental
pioneer, and a leading force with so many ideas that still wait to be put in practice.
For this, MetalDays was awarded with A Greener Festival Award in years 2016,
2017, 2018 and 2019, and it was promoted as most ecological festival by many
TV stations and magazines.

What we will do with money raised from this fund?
First of all, this fund will help our company to keep the operation alive, and this
helps the employees and their families to survive another year without the
festival. Time since last March has put all of us at heavy test.
This fund will also help us to continue with our plans and projects like Green
Metal(Days), New Metal Festival, Headbanger’s Holiday festival, Bluesland
festival and maybe we will be able to bring back to life Winter Days of Metal.
All those projects were financed with what we make on MetalDays, and are
playing big role in the situation that we are now in.
With other words, beside spending the money on MetalDays, we invested most
money that we make on MetalDays in new, exciting projects that we were able to enjoy together with you. One project that makes us very proud is New Metal
Festival, the ultimate platform for new and exciting Metal bands.
We will also use this fund to be able to keep MetalDays alive in form of making
new and exciting merch for you, taking care of our social media and doing all that
is needed to be done, to keep this festival going.
