My name is Brian Whitaker and I am currently the City Clerk of the City of New Castle, Delaware running as the Independent Party of Delaware (IPoD) candidate for New Castle County Council President. I am also a member of the Delaware Municipal Clerks Association, the Institute of International Municipal Clerks, and the Delaware League of Municipalities. In addition, I was appointed by former Governor Markell to the Board for Audiology, Speech Pathology, and Hearing Aid Dispensaries (from December 2014 to June 2017) and served in the United States Army with an Honorable Discharge.

I am raising money to be able to be competitive in the race to be elected to be the New Castle City Council President. The money that is being raised is for the following:
