Prayers for Piper

My name is Courtney, my sister, Cassady McManus, and brother-in-law, Bobby Beejack, tried to conceive a baby for 12 years! Finally, after years of heart break my sister was pregnant! We were all overjoyed! Their little girl was due February 10th, 2018; but my sister went into early labor and delivered a beautiful baby girl, Piper Claire Beejack, on October 16th 2017 after only 23 weeks and 2 days of gestation! Early! Way too early!!!
Piper Claire was born at only 1 lb 6 oz....a micro premi! They told us that she wouldn't survive when my sister first got to the hospital. She struggle with multiple complication; a brain bleed, heart issues, and underdeveloped lungs, just to name a few.
We prayed. Everyone prayed and helped so much, and we have tried to keep everyone updated as much as we can. Our Piper is a fighter. She is now 7 pounds, so most people assume that she is just fine like a normal baby! The fact is that, yes Piper will be coming home soon, but she needs in home nursing and insurance will not cover what they need for her.
The reason for Piper to have nursing is important because Piper will be on oxygen has a bradicardic and desatting episode sometimes! What is that you ask? Basically she stops breathing and her heart rate and/or her oxygen level drops and The nurses need to help get her to breath again and get oxygen.
Cassady will have to bring Piper to many many doctor appointments and the nurse will be there next to Piper if she has one of those episodes, whether in the car on the way to the appointment or at home.
Piper's medical needs will be great once she comes home and she will need to see her Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, ENT, Neurologist, Optamologist, Physical Therapist, Early Intervention Specialist, Pediatrician, and Developmental Pediatrician. That's a lot of doctors and a lot of medical bills added to their already large stack from Piper's 4 month stay in the hospital.
Bobby works every moment he can but the medical bills are rolling in and more importantly they need to get the nursing that Piper needs until she is more stable!
Anything you can give to help them get nursing to keep our sweet little Piper safe would be soooooooo appreciated.
We will keep all of you in our prayers and please keep Piper in ur prayers! We will always pass on when someone else is in need.
