<div>From Stroke to Song: Be a Part of JC Pride's Recovery Album Creation
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is JC Pride, and today, I am excited to share a story with you—a story of bouncing back, finding hope, and the transformative power of music.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nearly eight years ago, at the age of 25, my life took an unexpected turn. I woke up in a hospital, unable to talk or move, having survived a massive stroke. The doctors were uncertain about my future, but I was determined to redefine my destiny.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From those initial moments of silence and uncertainty, I embarked on a journey of resilience and recovery. I had to relearn the basics: breathing, blinking, and eventually, swallowing. My movements were uncoordinated, and my voice was impaired, but my spirit remained unbroken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I began communicating through a letter board, pointing to letters as someone patiently wrote down my words. It was a slow process, but it was the beginning of my journey back to self-expression.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I later moved to a rehabilitation hospital, where the real work began. It was challenging and at times, overwhelming. But through it all, I discovered the power of song. Music became my sanctuary, my form of expression, and my source of strength.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I am making an album to share my story— from silence to singing, from fear to hope. This album is more than just a series of songs, it is a testament to the power of resilience and the importance of breaking barriers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I need your help to bring this album to life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised will go towards the production and distribution of the album, ensuring that this message of resilience reaches as many people as possible. But this is about more than just an album. It is about challenging stereotypes, especially those surrounding disabilities. It is about building inclusive spaces, promoting holistic healthcare, and fostering conversations that unite us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I continue to work hard every day, never stopping in my pursuit of progress. Traditional avenues of income are not available to me due to my disability, which is why I am reaching out to you, my community. Your support means the world to me, and together, we can amplify the power of resilience, strength, and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider contributing and helping to spread the word. Your support will not only make this album possible but also contribute to a larger movement of change and inclusion.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With deep gratitude,
</div>
