*Originally the funds aimed to support the school children and provide them with essential needs, but along the way changes took place in order to prioritize certain situation in the Philippines right now.
Two strong typhoons passed through the Philippines causing massive destruction and lost of properties and lives. The first one caused great impact in the Visaya region and then, after couple of week another one came and landed in a very slow manner causing massive flooding and strong winds, in both Luzon and again Visaya region. A lot of families lost their homes and livelihood from the flood. The Cagayan region was massively destructed who happened to be dependent to farming, the Marikina also suffered from the devastating flood as it is located in the lower grounds.
The Philippine government is doing its best to accommodate all of the need of the affected families but given the situation of the COVID-19, getting back and moving forward is such a challenge. That is why we are reaching out to you and your helping hand for support in accomplishing another mission in collecting in kind donations for the victims of the typhoon. Rest assured that the funding will go directly to the people who are actively working hand in hand in supporting and helping the victims of the natural disaster.
