Nicole was coming home from a family vacation in Ashland, WI and collapsed suddenly at a gas station in Minocqua, WI. 911 was called and her long fight for her life began; she was in ventricular fibrillation. Her heart was failing and she was very ill, during all of this her heart went into cardiac arrest. In addition to her heart condition, vascular complications arose and she suffered a double amputation of her legs. This was a necessary amputation as it saved her life by preventing her body going into severe sepsis shock.
A healthy girl at just 24 years of age, whom did not have any previous condition or any symptoms leading to this point of V-Fib. Nicole eats well, and was exercising everyday! Her doctor's and specialists are still unable to find a cause... none-the-less, she is our miracle! She is fighting and she slowly she is healing. She has an AMAZING support system with the best doctors, nurses, specialists, as well as, family, friends, and many, many people that have never even met Nicole but are praying and sending their support!. Amazing.
