Hope For Shannon Leigh

Hi my name is
Tanya and this is my beautiful sister Shannon. In 2005 Shannon was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and underwent a full hysterectomy. She was cancer free until 2009 when she was then diagnosed with GCT ( Granulosa Cell Tumors) a rare form of ovarian cancer. Shannon has undergone several surgeries  to remove large masses from her body over a period of several years. Allthough she has had many difficult times Shannon has faced this disease with courage and an optimistic heart ❤️ She is truely inspirational!
Shannon after one of her many surgeries.... still smiling!                                                                                                                    Recently, Shannon was informed by her doctors that there would be no more surgeries as sadly there is nothing more they can do for her.  The cancer has gone into her liver and into her lymph nodes.                                                   Inspite of this devastating news Shannon continues to maintain her upbeat and positive outlook.

As you can see
from these pictures,  my sister has always been adventurous!  She is one of those people who exhudes and absorbs life!!!  Quietly and gracefully but to the fullest!!! And it is no surprise to me that she is not ready to quit. That she can still have hope.  That she is embracing a healthy lifestyle and seeking different healing methods and her doctors fully encourage her to do so.
See that face?! I love that face ❤️           Shannon, like many of us, is on a limited income. She worked in the hospitality industry for many years and as much as she would like to, is unable to work, as the cancer and numerous surgeries have taken a toll on her poor body. Money to pay for alternative medicine is nonexistent.  Funds raised would help Shan explore different healing opportunities as well as with her quality of life.  So that she could travel to see her family.

Please donate or share.  Every gift is appreciated no matter the amount and helps us get closer to our goal.         I thank you and am so grateful for you all!
