Support for Susan (sister & friend)

Susan, our sister, a mother, grandmother, and friend to many, was in a terrible car accident in January 2018 in which she broke both her legs and her collarbone. At this time she is still not weight bearing on her legs.  Once the doctors clear her for weight bearing physical therapy, it will be a long road to recovery before she is able to get back to work. In addition to the physical struggles she is also facing financial challenges. Having just started a new job in December 2017, she was not yet entitled to medical benefits including short or long term disability.  Her current health insurance only goes so far,  so she will soon be responsible for her mounting medical bills. The loss of income and looming medical bills are weighing heavily on her mind. There is much written about how a positive attitude helps in healing. So, with that we ask that if there is anything you can do to help alleviate some of the financial stress it would be very appreciated.

Funds will go to help pay for medical bills as well as modifications and improvements to her home. She will be needing a ramp to get up to her front door as well as a modified bathroom that she can access.

If you cannot contribute financially, would you be willing to support Susan with the home modifications she will need? She is located about 30 minutes east of Indianapolis and donations of labor or materials for her home modifications would also be a great help.
