Family funeral

My husbands sister Emma passed away unexpectedly on the 4th January at the age of 46. She leaves behind a daughter (Laura) 21 and a son. Laura was raised by a grandparent. Emma was a sibling of three. She is survived by her two brothers. One who wishes to remain anonymous and her other brother Des.
Emma took her life down a different path. She doesn’t have life insurance or had anything in plan in the eventuality.
Laura is employed but is not in the financial position to afford a funeral. The cost of the funeral is £2300. A huge amount for a young girl just starting out in life. Laura has a flat of her own now.
Laura wants to give her mum a decent send off. The alternative is letting her lie in the mortuary where she still is 5 weeks after passing away for the next 6+months waiting for the local authority to take over. This is not in the best interests of her or her loved ones.
Laura has arranged the funeral for 19th February but is struggling somewhat raising the outstanding balance. Along with other members of the family we feel in our hearts to try as best as we can to get the support she so desperately needs and deserves.
Please all family and friends find it in your hearts to help us help Laura give her mum the send off she so wishes for.
