<div>Hola mi nombre es Juan Pablo y Lorena es mi mamá. Lorena es una mujer de 61 años, mamá soltera de 2 hijos y llena de ganas de vivir.

<div>Hace más de 3 años Lorena tuvo un problema neurológico llamado "aneurisma", es decir, una arteria del cerebro se dilató de más lo cual provocó que se almacenara mucha sangre en esa zona. Como resultado de tanta acumulación de sangre y de presión, el aneurisma explotó, provocado así 2 derrames cerebrales en cuestión de 3 semanas. En el primer derrame la situación no era tan crítica, no había daños en el cerebro pero Lorena cayó en coma. Lamentablemente el segundo derrame le ocasionó a Lorena un infarto cerebral en la parte izquierda del cerebro, desencadenando un estado grave en su salud.

<div>Lorena estuvo hospitalizada por 8 semanas, la mayoría de estas en estado de coma, pero gracias a Dios Lorena despertó, pero aún así los pronósticos no eran favorables. Los doctores nos dijeron que debido a todo lo que Lorena había pasado era impensable que tuviera ella una vida digna, que tan solo iba a poder abrir y cerrar los ojos. Aun así, agradecidos por la vida de Lorena, y sabedores de todo el trabajo que implicaba tener un familiar con este problema, nos atrevimos a sacarla del hospital y cuidar de ella, ya que en el hospital no había nada más que pudieran hacer.

<div>Después de estos 3 años, Dios nos ha dado la mejor sorpresa de todas y es que, aunque Lorena no pueda mover las extremidades de su lado derecho y el derrame haya afectado su forma de hablar, ha evolucionado de una manera magnífica, gracias a cirugías, terapias de lenguaje, terapia física y sobre todo el apoyo y amor que amigos y familiares le han brindado.
