Money for Marilyn

Everyone knows that for those of us that don’t have kids, our fur babies are our children, but unfortunately when they need emergency surgery, we don’t have health insurance to fall back on for them and we get hit with giant vet bills we weren’t prepared for. And because we took on the responsibility of having a pet, we are going to do whatever we have to do. Nobody ever wants to ask for help from others so we just don’t, but when my fur baby had cancer and needed surgery, someone did this for me and I was so grateful for it.

Anyone who knows Jada, knows Marilyn. The kitty she inherited when a friend moved and couldn’t take her with. She was only supposed to have her 6 months to a year....12 years later she no longer talks to that girl and Marilyn is her best friend.

Recently Marilyn started losing weight and vomiting up her food. Turned out she had a tumor the size of a racquetball in her intestine.

She’s doing well after her surgery but has to spend the weekend at the hospital.

When it’s all said and done this will cost upwards of $6,000. Let’s be real, we are hairstylists, we don’t make the kind of money that allows us to be able to drop that kind of money unexpectedly. Any way we can help take some stress off Jada and Miss Marilyn is greatly appreciated!
