Jennifer means so much to so many people because she has touched all of our lives in a meaningful way. She is our sister, daughter, niece, auntie, cousin, co-worker, neighbor, employee and friend.....
You may know her as JJ, Jenni, Jenfo, Furing, or Jennifer, but to me she is my sister, Jenny. My sister Jenny has cancer.
Last Fall Jenny developed a persistent cough and in January she saw the doctor. After two rounds of steroids didn't improve her cough, the doctor took an Xray and discovered a large tumor in her right lung. A few weeks and a series of tests later, Jenny was diagnosed with Stage 3B Lung Cancer.
Jenny is beginning the first phase of a very aggressive treatment that combines chemotherapy and radiation.
With such an aggressive treatment Jenny will be physically unable to work. Without paid leave a huge financial burden will be placed on her shoulders. This fund is being set up to alleviate that burden and allow her to put all her strength and energy into fighting this cancer, and BEATING it.
Your contributions will go directly to paying her medical expenses as well as financial assistance with living expenses. With a need this great, any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Jenny is someone who makes everybody feel like a somebody. She takes the time to find out what's important to you, she brings out the best in people and people gravitate towards her. She is requested and sought out by her regular dining patrons at her work, she is the fun friend, the doting daughter, the loving auntie and a beautiful person inside and out. Let's rally around her and shower her in an abundance of love and support in her time of need.
