Martin's Medical Fund

In October 2016 the Fuentes family lost their beloved mother/grandmother Linda Fuentes to cancer. In January of 2018 our families biggest fears were confirmed, cancer has once again stricken our family. At age 54, Martin Garcia husband to Lorraine and father to Ryan, Anikah, and Alec, and grandfather to Kailey has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Martin has worked with the RGCCISD as a police officer for the past 13 years. Martin has a large pool of loving supportive family and friends not only in Rio Grande City, but in his hometown of Corpus Christi as well. We are all too familiar with this disease and the mercy it has on no one. This is the beginning to what we know will be a long exhausting road. There will be physical, mental, and financial challenges. However, we hold on to faith, hope and prayer to guide us through.
