Sin Barreras Fundraiser

The COVID-19 Student Service Corps (CSSC) has been started at the University of Virginia to help address the needs of the Charlottesville community to attempt to alleviate financial and resource restraints that people are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise money to purchase grocery store gift cards and baby sanitary supplies to distribute to the Latinx community of Charlottesville through partnering with Sin Barreras, an organization that helps Spanish speakers and immigrants access resources in the community. It is also to continue working with Sin Barreras as the needs of the Latinx community change. There has been limited access to food and other necessary resources in the immigrant community due to the recent stay at home order, loss of jobs, and/or limited access to transportation following the COVID-19 outbreak.

The need for these supplies is urgent. Our goal is to raise $5000 and 100% of the profits will be used for the purchasing of goods that families need. We are grateful for any and all donations.
