Reggie wasn’t even involved in the play when a teammate lost his balance and collided into him at full force. In that instant, Reggie’s knee buckled, and his life as he knew it was turned upside down.

<div>The injury was catastrophic. Reggie completely tore three of the four major ligaments in his knee. His ACL, MCL, and cruciate, and only one ligament was left holding it all together. The pain was immediate and excruciating, but the emotional toll has been even harder. For someone who has lived and breathed football his entire life, hearing doctors say, “You may never play again,” was utterly devastating.
