Getting My Kids Back to Safety

When I finally decided to leave an abusive relationship, despite all of his threats to completely destroy me if I left, the father of my children, hired "the best attorney money could buy”, to “present what he needed to present”, to ruin me.
So many lies were told about me by this man and his attorney, lies that cost me so much time with my kids, because those lies were believed by the courts. It has been over a year of this, going to hearings and such, and still the lies continue. This man, who has caused me so much pain, physically, sexually, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally, and is now abusing the children in so many ways, still has majority custody.
At times, I felt like giving up, or that I should have never left. It is not easy being abused on a regular basis, but it is a hell of a lot easier than not being a part of your children’s lives.
I felt that way then…but how wrong was I? He may have taken my children, my home, my car, my money, but he did give me one thing…MY FREEDOM BACK!!
Though, I have had so many loses in the past, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON MY CHILDREN! I will fight to the ends of the Earth to get them back! No matter how many no’s I get, or how many lies are told about me, I WILL SAVE MY CHILDREN!!
And after that, I want to make a difference in this world. Teach women how to survive all of this, to change laws regarding Domestic Violence, and to help give mother’s back their basic human rights.
