Helping A Single Mom in Need

I am starting a fundraiser for someone very close to me who’s life has been tossed around in recent months. I’m not disclosing her identity because she is far too strong to ask for help. If you put together who it is, please be kind with the information. She is in need of a reliable vehicle for transportation.
This is for a single mother in our community. At the beginning of the year, she was gainfully employed, had recently moved to a better area for her child right outside of Springfield, and had high hopes for the year of 2020. Unfortunately, her child’s father passed away unexpectedly in February. She was forced to take extra time off work to tend to her grieving daughter, and subsequently was let go.
During the next few months Covid wreaked havoc through her life, as it’s done to so many of us. She took in a relative who promised to help with bills and her daughter. I won’t disclose too much information about their personal matters, but I will say her relative caused her to be evicted from her home. She then had to forgo her other bills to save for an outrageous deposit (due to her eviction) on a new place. 1 month into settling at her new apartment with her daughter, her car was repossessed.
Which brings me to my fundraiser.
She does not live close enough to her daughter’s school to walk every day, but not far enough to bus. She does not have money to pay for a sitter to be with her daughter before or after school. No transportation could mean a slew of horrid events in the upcoming winter months and I feel she’s been through enough. I believe I can find a car for 1800-2200. Something with heat that will get her from point A to point B while she’s rebuilding her life. I would buy it myself, but I just don’t have that much to give right now.
So please, in the season of giving, consider donating to my cause. You have no idea what a difference this would make. Something little to you could mean something huge for these two beautiful souls.
