Celia & Ruben's Support Fund

As some of you may know, our parents Celia and Ruben have been dealing with medical issues for the past few years. They are and always have been the type of people who don't ask for help, and while struggling themselves they continue to help others. Their income has dwindled dramatically since they are unable to work due to their medical conditions.
Ruben was diagnosed with Shingles in 2012 which has been extremely painful as he continues to struggle with breakouts. At times he works in the paving industry even though he suffers the painful breakouts which includes blisters all over his torso.
Celia was diagnosed with 4 brain aneurysms in July 2014. She had her first brain surgery 3 months later in October. She has not been able to work since. Some of you might know her from Ixtapa in Stayton, she was one of the best waitresses around for 25+ years.
Just few weeks out of the hospital, Celia was still needing a lot of help, Ruben had a major heart attack while at work in November 2014. Just 6 weeks after Celia's 1st brain surgery, her husband was now in the hospital. Once they were both home, they both were in major need of help. There children helped as much as they could, as well as some friends. Grocery's, rides, cleaning, and just being present for them. Celia was still recuperating and gaining brain function and memory again. Still unable to drive, she depended on Ruben or family and friends to get to her appointments. Ruben was still recuperating from his heart surgery, and still suffering from shingles, and unable to work and bring in income only adds stress to the situation.
They have gone through there savings account, and are living pay paychek to paycheck from social security and disability which isn't enough to cover their monthly expenses and their medical bills just keep piling up as well.
In the beginning of 2015 Celia had her second brain surgery. Thank God she recuperated a lot faster than the first, however she is still having short term memory issues from her first surgery.  Ruben has dedicated most of his days help Celia around the house and still transporting her to and from appointments, groceries, etc.  In addition to all of this, in November 2015 she had  rotator cuff surgery from all the years of working as a waitress. She had did a lot of damage to her shoulder and ligaments. This was a very painful surgery and she needed a lot of physical therapy after.
Recently Celia was admitted on her birthday Thursday 3/24/2016 to Santiam Memorial Hospital. Current medical concerns is the mass found in her lung, who she will need to see a specialist for, and a terrible case of pneumonia to top it off. She is still as of today 3/29/2016 in the hospital. On Friday 3/25/2016 Ruben was visiting with his wife at the hospital when the Dr. called him down to speak with him about a previous appointment he had. There he got more bad news. They told him that they have found spots on his liver, and he would need to see a specialist. We are currently waiting on test results and Dr. appointments to find out more on the seriousness of these conditions.
On top of everything there mobile home is falling apart, it is over 30 years old, and has mold, which we are convinced that this is the cause of her ongoing lung issues.  The roof leaks, and flooding in the winter months and rainy seasons cause back ups with the sewage system. This we know is not good for thier health conditions. So we are asking to raise as much as possible for them to help pay for thier accumulating medical bills, and any money left over after paying for medical bills will go towards better living conditions. The purchase of a new mobile home, or to build a small home for them. Anything helps, and if you have no money to give, please pray for them. Prayer goes a long way, thank you all in advance for all your support.
