Nicole's Volunteer Trip (2018)

Hello, my name is Nicole Russo and I am a junior majoring in neuroscience and minoring in Hispanic studies at Boston College. Sophomore year I joined MEDLIFE, a club that focuses on educating BC students about healthcare, raising money for projects and medical supplies, and planning an annual service trip. This year my goal is to go Riobamba, Ecuador! As a volunteer, I will work closely with medical professionals and community leaders to help deliver medical services, educational workshops and developmental projects to families in need. Going on this trip would be a formative experience for me because it combines the two things I love: medicine and Hispanic culture.
