FAMILY IN CRISIS. My name is Susan Gonzales. I am raising money to help my daughter and her family.

2025 began with my daughter Stephanie being admitted to ICU with pneumonia, COVID, and internal bleeding. Stephanie was not able to work for over a month and exhausted all of her sick leave, resulting in financial hardship for the family.

Shortly after that, in March of 2025, Brandon, Stephanie's husband, lost his job, causing additional financial hardship for the family.

In May of 2025, Braedy, Stephanie's 8-year-old son, was hospitalized for over a week with an undiagnosed bleeding disorder and is still being treated. All of this has been difficult for this family to navigate through financially... they have literally been one paycheck away from homelessness.

In August 2025, Brandon suffered catastrophic injuries in a house fire resulting in burns to over 65% of his body. These injuries will result in permanent disability provided he survives. Brandon was airlifted and is being treated in a burn and trauma unit located in Lubbock, Texas.

The financial and emotional strain on this family is more than most people suffer in a lifetime. We as a family try to support our daughter the best we can, but the constant worry about finances weighs heavy on Stephanie as she earns barely enough to pay rent and utilities. Any financial support that can be offered is appreciated.
