Help Tori fight Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia & Mold
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Tori Lauffer, and I am looking for help on my journey to healing. I am 28 years old and just got married in October. Shortly after, in December, I had to quit my job as a middle school Paraprofessional due to Lyme Disease, Bartonella (cat starch fever) and Babesia. Many doctors and insurance companies do not recognize Lyme Disease; therefore, finding a knowable Doctor is complicated, Expensive and mentally draining.
Since I had to quit my job for the past four months, I have been experiencing derealization, depression, racing thoughts, nausea, severe fatigue, muscle aches, migrates and recently burning, tingling, and numbness on my skin, feet, hands and body. My hands are hard to close, and most days, I can get up to take care of myself and end up back in bed due to severe weakness and fatigue.
My husband has been working overtime to take care of my basic needs and medical. We were both raised to work hard for our money. I cannot get a job right now due to most days not being able to drive and stand/sit for long periods. I am counting days until I can go back to working full time. For my healing process to happen, I need to see a new doctor, I have an appointment with him in April, and there is one more test I need to get done.
The money you donate will be used towards past Lyme related medical bills, medical bills to come from Lyme, Lyme supplements, and mental health support.
If you cannot donate, please keep me in your prayers.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am looking forward to making a major comeback.
Update**** 4/10/2022
I have been doing the Lyme and co infection protocol for a month now and am improving. I have more energy to get housework done around my house and I am pushing myself not to be in bed all day. I still find myself in bed throughout the day due to the fatigue and on going symptoms. My Lyme doctor approved me to work a max of 15 hrs a week in a very low stress job and no fluorescent lights due to Extreme light sensitivity. I also am being tested for Mold and that test is a few hundred and not covered by insurance. My doctor also wanted our house tested for mold (we rent) and it had green, white and black mold through the house and basement. I just had to move out and in with my grandma until the mold problem at the house is fixed. It’s exhausting and a huge inconvenience to say the least but I am trying to remember that God placed me with my grandma and in this situation for a reason and I am grateful. This is a long storm I have been in but very blessed with all the lessons I have learned and people I know I will be able to help. Please continue to pray for healing and strength, there’s still a long road ahead.
