I am an independent hairdresser and this virus scare has completely killed my business. I have a one chair salon Judaysia in California and no one is coming in because of the state wide shutdown. I literally do not have any way to keep my shop open and pay my rent. My total source of income has been taken away.
The last 3 years have been years of loss for me. First, my long term boyfriend boyfriend died of lung cancer. Then five months later my Mother died overnight of brain bleed from Xarelto, and now 18 months ago I lost my Dad from lung cancer as well. They would have been my financial and emotional support during this difficult time.
I do not have any family to help support me. My salon is my only form of income and financial support.
I am grateful for all the love and support of my clients, and I am looking forward to the end of this crisis.
