Thanks for expressing your condolences and support for Ling and Jim as they mourn the loss of Norah.
Nearly 3 years old, Norah unexpectedly passed away in her sleep on June 20th. She was a happy and playful little girl, full of joy and loved by many people, especially her parents, older brother Sam and newborn brother Frank.
Norah and Sam made a huge hit with the section last month at the reunion, as they brought some fun to Aldrich hall. Norah is sitting in the bottom right. (Thanks Mark for the photo)
Money donated on this site will be used to first provide flowers from the section for Norah's funeral service on Sunday 6/28 (aprox $300). Additional donations (or money that comes in after the funeral), will be used to provide a regular flower delivery to Ling and Jim for a year. If we exceed that, Ling and Jim will be able to select a charity, where the money will be donated on behalf of Section C in memory of Norah.

With the generocity of the section, we have far exceeded the original goal. Ling & Jim have had a little time to think about it and asked if donations can go into a medical fund to help their older son Sam, who is on the autism spectrum. He doesn't deal well with change in his routine or lots of chaos, and their home and his life is nothing but change and chaos right now. His teachers and therapists have graciously donated their time to help him through the first week but they are already seeing a regression on his behavior. Ling and Jim are planning to place him back in intensive 40 hour a week ABA therapy for at least the next year to 18 months. However, these services are not covered by their insurance plan. I'll make sure additional donations go to that.
