Shannon's Medical Fund

Five days before Christmas this past year I was diagnosed at the ER with ovarian cancer. I had been feeling really sluggish, and no energy. I had gradually been losing my appetite. Thanksgiving was the last real meal I ate. I had no appetite and was living on Boost and half a banana. At the ER they referred me to a surgeon in Charleston. Because of the holiday s my appointment was almost 3 weeks away. We went to Charleston expecting him to set a date for surgery, instead he admitted me for 9 days. I had 16 tests/procedures in those 9 days. They found blood clots in my legs and lungs. I can't have the surgery to remove this 20 cm mass until the blood clots are better. We are looking at the 1st of March. I am unable to work.   I am grateful for all prayers and donations in this battle that I am facing.
